The Architect's vision
Silurveien 45 has qualities that deserve to be carried forward. The red brick façade has a weight and character that we wanted to build upon—quite literally. Instead of removing the existing structure, we will add two to three new floors on top, cladding the new volumes in bands of screen brick in colors that harmonize with the original, explains the architect from the renowned firm Vitreo.
"This isn't about taking the easy route. It's about doing it right. Transforming a technical building into residential homes requires precision but also offers the opportunity to create something truly unique.
