A good home is as much about external qualities as internal, and this has been a strong focus at Furutoppen. The place is named after a small rocky knoll that lies directly behind the houses, which will be your own tiny wilderness area with rocks, moss, grass and pine trees. A bench or two and of course a fire pan will also be set up. This will surely become a favourite destination for residents of all ages. For toddlers, a picnic here will be a small expedition, and for adults, it will be a perfect place for a cup of coffee after dinner. The outdoor area between the houses will be nice, too. Lawns, bushes, benches and a playground for children of all ages.

Location

The good living will also extend beyond your own plot. The neighbourhood is full of quiet roads, perfect for a stroll or walking your dog. There is a primary school just a few minutes' walk from home, with a single pedestrian crossing that the children have to cross. The nearest kindergarten is a little further down Gamleveien, and there are several others close by. The lower secondary school is 2 km from home, just the right cycling distance.
